Figma Pitch Deck
Collaborative browser-based design platform used by product teams to create, prototype, and ship digital interfaces together.
Figma
Figma is a browser-native design and prototyping tool that lets multiple people edit the same file at once, similar to how Google Docs re-imagined document editing. It has become an industry standard across product design, marketing, and engineering.
The company was founded in 2012 by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace, both Thiel Fellows out of Brown University, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Figma announced a proposed acquisition by Adobe in 2022 that was ultimately terminated in 2023, after which the company continued as an independent public-track business.
This deck is the early seed pitch. It framed the product as a collaborative canvas, arguing that design tools had lagged the collaborative shift already visible in productivity software.
